Leasing Consultant – Keystone Apartments – Jonesboro, GA

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Community Manager and/or Assistant Manager, Leasing Consultant will assist in the development and implementation of advertising and special promotions.

The Leasing Consultant is also responsible for establishing and maintaining a relationship with prospective and current residents. The Leasing Consultant should assist with leasing and marketing. Incumbent is expected to have excellent attendance and communication skills, possess the ability to build lasting business relationships, and exhibit professionalism.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Leasing Consultant is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with prospective and current residents.
  • The Leasing Consultant will assist in the development and implementation of advertising and special promotions.
  • The Leasing Consultant will assist in the preparation of market surveys and traffic reports.
  • The Leasing Consultant will determine needs of prospective residents.
  • The Leasing Consultant is responsible for presenting property and apartment homes in a manner consistent with the image of the property.
  • The Leasing Consultant is responsible for obtaining a “commitment to rent” from a specified percentage of prospects.
  • The Leasing Consultant is responsible for assisting in the lease renewal procedure.
  • The Leasing Consultant is responsible for preparing lease packages.
  • The Leasing Consultant will assist in preparation of the turnover report.
  • The Leasing Consultant will assist in collection of late rents and other monies due the property.
  • The Leasing Consultant will assist in the move-in and move-out procedure.
  • The Leasing Consultant is responsible for assisting in the absence of the on-site manager/assistant manager in handling of emergencies, log resident service requests, scheduling of apartment home make ready and repair work, inspection of vacant apartments, etc.
  • The Leasing Consultant must have the ability to travel for the purpose of conducting regular property business.  They are required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • The Leasing Consultant will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Resident Services Supervisor, Community Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager, Vice-President or President of Royal American Management, Inc.
