Banquet Set-Up Supervisor – Boardwalk Beach Hotel & Convention Center – Panama City Beach, FL

Immediate opening for a full-time, year-round BANQUET SET-UP SUPERVISOR at a local hotel/convention center on the beautiful Panama City Beach. This is a hands-on (labor) position that involves supervising and assisting the setup crew to prepare the space for upcoming events. Job Summary below.

Duties may include:

  • Overseeing, directing and assisting set-ups crew per Banquet Event Order (BEO).
  • Setting up meeting rooms and private function areas with the appropriate equipment and materials, including tables, chairs, glasses, water, pens, writing tablets, and any other items requested.
  • Storing equipment and materials neatly in proper areas.
  • Icing and watering all meetings at the start and during breaks.
  • Emptying trash from all function areas.
  • Changing linen, and putting it in the correct areas for cleaning by housekeeping.
  • Vacuuming all meeting rooms after functions.
  • Inspecting Banquet equipment for defects, cleanliness, and any other maintenance needed.
  • Cleaning and mopping of the storerooms and meeting rooms.
  • Any other reasonable task, written or verbal, by the Supervisor or Manger.

Skills / Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
