Marketing Manager – Boardwalk Beach Hotel & Convention Center – Panama City Beach, FL

Immediate opening for a Marketing Manager at Royal American Hospitality, Inc. Representing a Panama City Beach hotel and conference center as well as a vacation rental management company, the Marketing Manager identifies, develops and maintains marketing objectives, plans and programs in accordance with the company’s monthly, quarterly and annual goals. Contributes to the company’s success by regularly reviewing analytics and destination trends to establish promotional strategies that give the company a competitive edge and, ultimately, grow revenue. Acts as primary liaison between the operation’s promotional partners, media, community and the internal team. Position details below.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with the General Manager and Vice President of Operations, assists in the annual marketing plan and budget creation
  • Executes the annual marketing plan by coordinating all advertising, designing and maintaining brand consistency in various advertising and collateral materials, creating promotions and packages, writing and distributing press releases, maintaining multiple websites and social media pages, developing and sending e-blasts plus organizing special events
  • Tracks and measures campaign performance to inform future budgeting decisions
  • Coordinates all SEO and SEM efforts to grow website traffic with the goal of increasing direct bookings and, ultimately, revenue
  • Analyzes reports (Google Analytics) and destination trends to establish promotional strategies
  • Analyzes (SWAT) the local and regional competitive set to identify brand and revenue growth opportunities
  • Maintains efficient marketing management procedures for productive use of staff time and resources—sets priorities and manages the Senior Graphic Designer’s creative queue to ensure that all creative is delivered accurately and by deadline
  • Attends weekly staff meetings to provide updates on marketing initiatives and to provide marketing support as needed to other departments
  • Attends weekly Yield meetings to brainstorm on potential room packages and new revenue streams
  • Cultivates promotional partnerships and campaigns to increase the operation’s competitive edge
  • Regularly audits websites and social media pages to ensure that all data is up-to-date, effective and relevant
  • Responds to guest/potential guest inquiries in a timely manager and engages the customer base across all relevant social media channels
  • Maintains a current media contacts database, a current internal media policy and acts as a liaison between the media and the company
  • Maintains high visibility in the surrounding community, representing the company in a professional manner at multiple business-to-business functions.

Minimum Job Requirements/Education:

  • Minimum of four-year degree in marketing or the equivalent in work experience in the responsibilities listed
  • Minimum seven to 10 years of marketing and/or hospitality experience
